As founder of Capstone Educational Consultants, Mark supports families in navigating the college admissions process. In this role, he draws on his extensive experience as a former college admissions professional to effectively guide potential students through the journey of selecting and applying to schools for which they are best suited. By taking a personalized, collaborative approach to this endeavor, Mark becomes an advocate for his clients throughout the complex admissions and financial aid process.
For 10 years, Mark served in the admissions department of Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee, where he rose from admissions counselor to become director of admissions and enrollment management, working closely and collaboratively with financial aid. In this position, he had the honor of personally consulting with more than 1,000 students and families about their college admissions and financial aid decisions. Later in his career, he provided analysis and consultation for personal and career development. In his free time, Mr. Cruver enjoys participating in outdoor activities that bring him closer to nature, including gardening, fishing, and canoeing. His favorite places to visit include the Appalachian Smokey Mountains, Colorado Rockies, coastal Georgia, and the Tampa Bay area. He is also fond of cooking, especially for his family.

Mark served for nearly a decade in college admissions. The greater portion of his time in higher education administration was serving as the chief enrollment officer and working closely with financial aid to prepare financial awards for students and families from a variety of backgrounds. Since his work in Admissions, Mark has been assisting families in understanding the process of admissions and charting the difficult waters of the financial aid process. With college costs on the rise, determining the best strategies to save is critical. Mark continues to work with families to make educated decisions toward college expense.
